He creates a friendly working atmosphere while at the same time also producing really professional results and totally keeping us in the loop on all of the mixing decisions. Tony helped us mix into a final digital format analog taped material from 32 years ago which had not been mixed since its recording. He suggested a company which could transfer and download the 16-track ½" originals into digital format; he then imported those files and mixed them. It was a difficult exercise, but his professionalism is beyond reproach. He had to decipher more than a dozen 32-year-old track listing sheets - vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass, drums - and then start afresh on the mixes. His command, built up over years of experience at the highest level, of the mixing desk and all associated equipment is masterful. Like an alchemist he makes it look so simple; he wears his expertise lightly. He is the very definition of user friendly. The finished product sounded fresher than tomorrow.
