Creative, easy and efficient my studio is located on a quiet street with natural and enhanced acoustic soundproofing. With accurate monitoring, an excellent array of top quality recording equipment and an engineer with almost 3 decades of recording savvy.

Work direct in my studio, remotely or both

From all corners of the globe! Use the vocal booth to communicate with your interviewees, podcast participants or international producers. The studio computer is enabled for all manner of remote software including Zoom, Source Connect, Chrome, Source Elements and Microsoft Skype.

Technical

The studio microphones range from Sennheiser to Neumann to a handmade Nashville Lawson LM47 MKII. Microphone pre-amplification are handled by Millenia and compression by Neve or  Empirical Labs. The analogue to digital audio conversion is handled Lynx Aurora, widely regarded as best-in-class. Recent microphone inclusion is a  Warm Audio WA-87R2 for more of that super Neumann sound.

Personnel

I’m included as your sound engineer specialist. Expect a relaxed calm manner whilst recording your voiceovers, podcasts and audiobooks. With attentive ears and a good eye for script that makes my studio the place to aim high but budget consciously. I can advise through the production process when necessary. For audiobooks I can work to Audible agreed levels.  Also included is an extensive sound effects library curated over many years.

Location

Located in central north Bristol BS6 5BP with all transport links. Unmetered street parking. The studio is close to Gloucester Road with all its independent vibe and amenities.
